Northfield
Disability Forum

The Northfield Disability Forum is a group of local citizens living with or caring for someone with, impairments and long term health conditions. The group was formed by local people who also work for the Northfield NNS team and Midland Mencap.

Our aims are:

  • We want to change attitudes to disability

  • We want to see barriers overcome

  • We want to see equality of rights for disabled people

We meet every 2 months at Sense Touchbase Pears, between 12 and 2pm.

If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Owen O’Brien, by email: owen@northfieldcommunity.org or phone: 07943960106.

Some things we have been involved in over the past year or two:

  • Northfield beach

  • Midland Mencap trustees feedback

  • Northfield NNS steering group involvement

  • Jolly January campaign
