‘Welcome Space Ambassador’
Location: One Centenary Square, Birmingham City Centre

💬 About the Role
The Welcome Space Ambassador is the friendly face and first point of contact for everyone who enters our Welcome Space. This role is all about creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment where visitors feel valued, listened to, and connected.
If you’re passionate about people, community, and making a positive difference, this is a role where your energy truly matters.
🤝 What You’ll Do

Greet visitors with warmth and genuine enthusiasm

Create a safe, welcoming atmosphere for all members of the community

Offer information, signposting, and light support to help people access services

Maintain the space so it feels comfortable, tidy, and inviting

Support activities, events, and community sessions taking place in the space
-
Build positive relationships with visitors, volunteers, and staff
-
Listen with empathy and ensure everyone feels respected and included

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive

A passion for community engagement and helping others

Previous experience within a service delivery environment similar to hotels, airlines etc and confidence to demonstrate at interview

Ability to demonstrate understanding of, and previous experience of delivering, exceptional service at interview

This is not a ‘desk’ based role; you will be expected to be present and mobile within the Lobby area, engaging with building users for the majority of the day
