The Welfare Rights Team can support clients in the Northfield and Selly Oak constituencies who are struggling to manage their finances or need help managing their benefits.

We can provide support with:

• Benefit claims and applications – Help with completing forms and applying for benefits. e.g. Personal Independence Payment forms, Disability Living Allowance forms, Universal Credit forms and Pension Credit applications. 

• Challenging benefit decisions – Support with understanding and challenging decisions about benefits.

• Financial support and advice – Guidance to help you manage your finances and access available support.

• Identifying financial support and benefits – Help to identify benefits and financial assistance you may be entitled to.

• Accessing relevant support and services – Connecting you with appropriate organisations and services that can help.
