VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers are vital to our service delivery allowing us to reach a wider range of clients and offer more people the support that they require.
Our volunteers come from a range of diverse backgrounds, contributing varied work and life experiences.
We offer various opportunities throughout the year such as Event Stewards, Food Bank Volunteers and Volunteer Computer Mentors.
At Northfield Community Partnership we understand that volunteers are fundamental to the success of many organisations so in response we created our Volunteer Hub helping to match volunteers with the organisations and roles that are right for them.
We advertise available roles for local organisations, provide individual appointments to support volunteers to find opportunities. We also offer weekly drop-in sessions.
Why Volunteer?
People volunteer for a range of reasons to gain new skills and build on existing ones, to meet
new people, or to gain experience to improve their employability. Many people benefit from improved confidence and a greater sense of well-being through their involvement with volunteering.
How do I Volunteer?
To get started, you could book a one-to-one appointment with us to discuss the types of roles available or attend one of our drop-in sessions. You can also call in to the hub to search, view and apply for vacancies.
What types of opportunity are available?
There are many roles available within a multitude of organisations. You could pop around for a coffee with someone elderly or straight out of hospital or do some research, sports coaching, administration, conservation or youth work. The possibilities are virtually endless try something new or share your existing skills.
Everyone has something to give, and everyone can gain from an extra pair of hands.
