Community Inspiration Awards 2025: 1st Runner-Up in the Community Organisation Award!

We were thrilled to attend the 13th Community Inspiration Awards on Friday, 26th September, having been shortlisted for the Community Organisation Award!

💚What are the Community Inspiration Awards?

"The annual Community Inspiration Awards is organised by the Community Foundation, to recognise outstanding contributions made by staff from public sector organisations, charities, businesses and members of the community, whose efforts have made a positive difference in the community. With 15 award categories to choose from, you can nominate somebody who you think deserves an award. Individuals can also submit a self-nomination, with the support of an independent verifier. Individuals can be nominated for more than one award category where applicable."

The evening began with introductions from Nozmul Hussain, CEO of the Community Foundation, who then introduced the award categories, with various presenters announcing the winners.

Categories ranged from Life Time Achievement Award, Volunteer Award, Community Reassurance Award, Sport Award, etc. You can view the full list here.

We are thrilled to announce that we were awarded 1st Runner Up in the Community Organisation Award! This achievement is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of the incredible staff at here at NCP, it wouldn’t have been possible without them. This Community Organisation Award is to recognise an outstanding voluntary organisation that has made a positive impact on the community through their continuous dedication and passion to help the community.

Rebecca Debenham, CEO of Northfield Community Partnership, said "we are thrilled to have been recognised as first runner up in the Community Inspiration Awards, for the Community Organisation Award. This is a testament to our incredible staff team who go above and beyond everyday to make a real difference to local citizens. Well done NCP Team!"

Carmel Corrigan, Chair of Northfield Community Partnership, said: "NCP has an amazing staff team who go above and beyond every day to support people in Northfield. It’s lovely to see that dedication recognised with this award."

Last year, Jess Allen (Northfield NNS Manger at NCP), won 2nd Runner up in Community Reassurance Award! An award to recognise the outstanding contribution made by a member of the community or a policing team who have worked hard to successfully improve community safety and reassurance.

Jess won for effectively delivering the Neighbourhood Network for Northfield Constituency, connecting local residents with support services, promoting independence, and enhancing community engagement reassurance through various initiatives and grant programmes.

It was a brilliant night, we’re delighted and honoured to be recognised as 1st Runner Up! Thank you, Community Foundation!
